Hey there!

My name is Teena Whitestone - welcome to my page! I'm a former beauty pageant contestant and current dance teacher and I just love sharing information about how you can look and feel your best.

Right after high school, I decided to enter a local competition in the Miss Florida America system on a whim. I got into pageants for the scholarship money, but I wound up getting so much more out of them. I learned how important it is to look and feel confident and to project this in all areas of your life. Pageants aren't all swimsuits and "world peace" - they can do wonders for your self-esteem too.

Now that I'm too old to compete in pageants, I spend most of the time at the dance studio. I teach many different ages of students and take classes myself in hip hop, contemporary, ballet and modern. Dancing is great exercise and it helps me to feel good about myself. I love being a positive role model for the students at my studio - especially when it comes to issues about image and self confidence.
