When we have been with our partners for a length of time it can become very difficult to come up with romantic evening ideas. Keeping things fresh and new and spending quality time with the one you love will strengthen your relationship. I know what you are saying though, “Everything has been done, there is nothing left to do.” This is completely untrue. There are plenty of date ideas right in front of you. With a little thought and creativity it can be quite simple to come up with inexpensive, but fun date ideas.

To get you started here are a few romantic evening ideas.

If the weather outside is frightful, remember what it was like to just get out in the snow and enjoy yourselves. Go outside and make snow angels. Make the perfect snowmen, take it a step further and create a snowman couple. Once you are both thoroughly frozen, take to the warmth of the house and enjoy a nice mug of warm cocoa together. Snuggle up under a blanket to get the chill out of your bones. Best of all this even works for parents. You can have a great romantic and fun date, while the children are warm and settled in their beds.

Not up for freezing, or just a lack of snow outside, then take to the bathroom instead and enjoy a nice bubble bath together. This can be a great romantic evening idea. All you need is some candles to set the mood, perhaps some soft music and a partner to join you in the tub. Turn out the lights and enjoy yourselves in a bubble bath for two.

Bubbles don't float your boat? Why not try a dinner date then. But not your normal hum drum dinner date. Pick up the ingredients before hand, feed the kids their favourites, get them off to bed and create a fantastic dinner for two. Part of the enjoyment of this romantic night is just creating and enjoying something together. Nothing is better than having wonderful company to not only create the meal, but to enjoy eating it as well. Up for something different than the regular food you cook? Grab an inexpensive cookbook or find one online and pick out a new meal to try together. Who knows you could even make it a weekly event where you both get together to create and try out a new meal, while enjoying the company of each other.
